CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Abstract (250 words) including titles, authors name, affiliation and corresponding authors email ID of unpublished research works related to the conference themes are invited for presentation (Oral and Poster). It should be prepared in MS Word, Times New Roman, 12 font size, 1.5 spacing. All Abstracts, Keynote papers and lead papers are to be submitted preferably through email attachment to ipsdelhi2024@gmail.com; ipsdis@yahoo.com on or before December 25, 2024. Please make bold the name of the presenter and mention the email ID of the presenting author.
PRESENTATIONS
Keynote Lectures: Nationally recognized eminent scientists/academician will be invited to deliver special lectures on the frontier research and technologies related to agricultural stress management . Plenary lectures will be of 30 minutes duration.
Lead Talk: Researchers/faculty/scientist will be identified by technical Committees to give lead lectures which will throw insight into the various themes of the Symposium. Each lecture will be of 15 minutes followed by discussion.
Oral Presentation: Delegates with excellent research will be chosen to deliver talk on their subject area in each theme with a duration of 10 minutes with discussion.
Poster Presentation: All delegates will have the opportunity to present their research papers through poster presentations. Materials for affixing the posters will be provided by the organizers. Posters should measure 4 feet (L) x 3 feet (W) and use standard font sizes appropriate for posters.

All interested should send their abstracts (not exceeding 200 words) of their bona fide research work / paper to the Organizing Secretary before the last date of submission. The abstracts will be evaluated by a preliminary screening committee and selected persons will be allowed for oral presentation in the symposium.

Prof. M.J. Narasimhan Merit Academic Award (for IPS Members only) – Zonal Contest for selection to National level contest
The contest for Prof. M.J. Narasimhan Academic Merit Award is open to all members of IPS under 35 years of age. The Delhi Zone will organize a contest among the zonal members during the Zonal Chapter's Meeting for preliminary selection of contestants. Only two names will be recommended by Zonal President for the final contest to be held during IPS Annual Meeting and National Conference on “Emerging Issues and Sustainable Strategies in Plant Health Management: A Global Perspective” at ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute (ICAR-CCRI), Nagpur during January 19-21, 2025.
The contestants must furnish the following certificate:

The following are the rules and regulations for the awards
The Society will publish the paper of awardee in Indian Phytopathology. The award recipient must submit full-length paper (as per IPS guidelines) for its publication in the journal Indian Phytopathology. There is no restriction of the age of co-author, if any.
APS-IPS TRAVEL SPONSORSHIP FOR PH.D. STUDENTS
American Phytopathological Society has offered the travel award to a Ph.D. student, who is member of IPS. Competitions among Ph.D. students in IPS-Mid Eastern region will be held during the IPS Delhi Zone symposium. Ph.D. students (DZ) are invited to participate in this contest in single or joint authorship. The purpose of the award is to encourage plant pathology students pursuing a doctoral degree in India and who are members of IPS to attend the APS annual meeting or APS sanctioned meeting if deemed appropriate by the Indian Phytopathological Society and APS Foundation Board.

All the Oral and Poster presentations will be evaluated by jury and best presentations from each theme will be awarded.
